Luego del controvertido video institucional que Boca publicó en las últimas horas, blanco de fuertes críticas por dejar de lado a los extranjeros, uno de los implicados salió al cruce: Mario Alberto Kempes, nombrado como simpatizante del club al comienzo del clip, desmintió serlo.
"Dije que mi abuelo era hincha de Boca, pero lo supieron cortar y poner otra frase. Yo no soy hincha de Boca", afirmó el Matador en un video en su cuenta de Instagram, aunque circulan algunas entrevistas en las que dice haber tenido un vínculo cuando era chico con la azul y oro.
